Moments That Remind Me Why I Teach Yoga

At the end of each weekly class, I hand out feedback surveys to both parents and the children. One moment deeply touched me. A child with mild autism spectrum disorder read the survey questions and circled his answers before I had even finished explaining what to do. Seeing him happily complete the survey filled my heart with gratitude.

His parents later shared something even more encouraging. They told me that he eagerly looks forward to every yoga class and, at home, pretends to be "Jagan anna(brother)," teaching yoga just as he sees me do in class. Hearing this was incredibly moving.
Moments like these fill my heart with gratitude, reinforce my belief in the transformative power of yoga, and inspire me to continue helping children with dedication, compassion, and love.
Knowing that I can make even a small difference in a child's life, it motivates me to continue this journey with purpose, gratitude and humility.
