A Journey of Grace, Growth, and Giving
There are moments in life that feel quietly powerful moments where pride, love, and purpose come together. This is one of those moments for me.

Today, with immense joy in my heart, I am inviting my dear sister, Harini Garikapaty, to become a part of our nonprofit journey at Still Waters Wisdom. At just 11 years old, Harini has completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training including specialized training in yoga for disease management, a milestone that reflects not only dedication and discipline, but also a deep inner connection to the practice of yoga. Watching her walk this path fills me with admiration.
What makes this even more special is that I, too, completed my 200-hour training at the same age. Being rooted in music, It feels like a beautiful continuation, a shared rhythm in our lives, like two Swaras (notes) resonating in the same raga (melody). Not a comparison, but a connection.
Yoga, for us, is not just about posture alone. It is about:
• Honoring the discipline of postures
• Learning to be present
Cultivating compassion
Serving others with humility
Discovering stillness amidst movement
At Still Waters Wisdom, these values form the very foundation of everything we do. Our mission is to bring kindness, healing, and awareness into the world through yoga, service, and human connection. Harini embodies this spirit so naturally. Her sincerity, her gentle presence, and her willingness to learn and share make her a beautiful addition to this journey.
This invitation is not just about recognizing her achievement. It is about welcoming her into a space where she can:
Share her knowledge
Grow through service
Touch lives with kindness
Continue discovering her own inner stillness
